DAY 1: USA | SENEGAL
Fly overnight to Dakar, Senegal.
DAY 2: BANDIA | LA SOMONE | LAC ROSE
Bienvenue au Sénégal! Upon arrival, meet your Forum Tour Manager and board your bus.
Head to Sindia and embark on a wildlife safari at Bandia Private Wildlife Reserve, which hosts many of Africa’s most popular wildlife species.
Later, visit La Somone, a small fishing village by the sea, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant set on an island in the lagoon.
Continue to Lac Rose to see its pink-tinged and salt-producing waters.
Dinner and night accommodation at your hotel.
DAY 3: LAC ROSE | SAINT-LOUIS
After breakfast, enjoy a 4×4 ride along part of the former Paris-Dakar Rally route.
Later, visit a local elementary school, participate in classes, and practice your French with the students.
After lunch, transfer to Saint-Louis.
Dinner and night accommodation in Saint-Louis.
DAY 4 – DJOUDJ NATIONAL PARK | SAINT-LOUIS
Start your day with a boat safari through the Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary, home to more than 400 bird species.
Return to St. Louis and enjoy a guided walking tour of the Old Town, where colonial-era buildings stand alongside mosques, temples, and churches.

DAY 5 – GUELAKH | OASIS DU DÉSERT
This morning, visit Guelakh village, where you will learn about their ecological farming techniques and sustainable agricultural practices.
Enjoy a traditional Senegalese lunch in the village, then participate in a batik workshop led by women from the village and create your own batik piece.
Head to the breathtaking landscape of the Oasis du Désert.
Share a traditional Méchoui dinner followed by a Djembe workshop with traditional Senegalese songs and dances around a bonfire.
DAY 6 – OASIS DU DÉSERT | THIES | DAKAR
Begin the day with a sunrise camel ride through the desert dunes, followed by breakfast in a tented restaurant and free time by the pool.
Head to Thies and visit a local high school. Participate in classes and practice French with local students.
Enjoy lunch chez l’habitant, sharing a meal with a local host family.
Continue to Dakar for dinner and night accommodation.
DAY 7 – GORÉE ISLAND | DAKAR
This morning, board a ferry to Gorée Island, a car-free UNESCO World Heritage Site connected to the history of the slave trade.
Take a guided tour of the island and visit the House of Slaves.
Enjoy lunch in a seaside restaurant.
Participate in a sand painting workshop led by local artists and create your own piece to bring home.
DAY 8 – DAKAR
After breakfast, spend the day discovering Senegal’s capital city. Visit landmarks such as the Presidential Palace, Independence Square, and Marché Kermel.
Then, explore the Village des Arts, Senegal’s most famous art complex. Meet local painters, sculptors and artists in their studios and learn about their creative process.
In the afternoon, visit the African Renaissance Monument and enjoy views over the city.
Relax in the hotel pool before enjoying a farewell meal with your group.
DAY 9 – DEPART
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.
