Cultural Tour of Puerto Rico for Students
DAY 1: DEPART | SAN JUAN
Fly to San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico.
¡Bienvenidos a Puerto Rico! Upon arrival, meet your bilingual Tour Manager and walk through the narrow cobblestone streets of San Juan. Enjoy this charming old town, its colonial architecture, and colourful areas full of history and culture.
Then, explore Castillo San Felipe del Morro, an impressive citadel overlooking Old San Juan.
Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 2: PONCE
After breakfast at your hotel, visit the Centro Ceremonial Indigena, one of the largest ceremonial sites in Puerto Rico, offering insight into the island’s indigenous past through its ancient plazas and archaeological remains.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic town of Ponce to discover Plaza las Delicias, El Parque de Bombas and La Catedral.
Later, step into the rhythm of Latin culture during a salsa dance class.
Enjoy Puerto Rican cuisine over dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 3: CABO ROJO | LA PARGUERA
After breakfast at your hotel, head to Cabo Rojo, famous for its coastal scenery and natural beauty.
Enjoy time to swim and relax in the calm waters of Playa Boquéron.
In the afternoon, board a private boat for a guided tour of La Parguera’s mangrove cays and discover the region’s rich flora and fauna.
Before dinner, enjoy the sunset on the unforgettable bioluminescent bay.
DAY 4: EL YUNQUE | LUQUILLO
After breakfast at your hotel, discover El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System.
Later, enjoy free time on the coast of Playa Luquillo.

DAY 5: DEPART
This morning, participate in a Bomba workshop to learn about its history, rhythms, and the connection between the drums and the dancer.
Enjoy a final lunch with your group in Piñones before transferring to the airport for your return flight.
