DAY 1: USA | MEXICO
Fly to Cancún.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your bilingual Forum Tour Manager who will be by your side, dedicated to your group while on tour.
Enjoy a welcome dinner with your group at your hotel in Playa del Carmen.
DAY 2: TULUM | COBA | MERIDA
In the morning, visit the Mayan ruins of Tulum. Situated on seaside cliffs, high above the Caribbean, Tulum offers an unrivaled setting.
Continue your Mayan adventure day with a visit to Coba. Set in thick jungle, the ruins of Coba include the second tallest pyramid in the Yucatán. Stroll through the ceremonial paths, climb ancient mounds, and ascend Nohoch Mul for an unbeatable panoramic view of the site.
Transfer to Mérida and check in at your hotel. Capital of the Yucatan state, Mérida boasts colonial architecture, contemporary cuisine and a lively Zócalo dating back to colonial times.
DAY 3: DAY TRIP TO UXMAL
In the morning, visit Uxmal, one of the most majestic but less visited ancient Mayan sites. From the top of the Governor’s Palace you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire complex.
Enroute back to Mérida, stop in San Antonio Mulix to cool off in a cenote, an underground natural water spring! Swim and snorkel in the calm, transparent waters of Xbatún and Dzombakal.
DAY 4: MERIDA
After breakfast, visit the outstanding Museo del Mundo Maya which exhibits over 1000 pieces of Mayan heritage.
In the afternoon, roll up your sleeves for a local cooking class. ¡Buen provecho!
DAY 5: CHICHEN ITZA | VALLADOLID | PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Visit the spectacular Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá. At its peak, the site was home to over 35,000 people. Temple of Kukulcan is the most iconic structure but there are many other pyramids and fascinating buildings in the site.
Enroute to Playa del Carmen, make a stop in Valladolid. Known as a Pueblo Mágico, the city is steeped in Mayan and colonial history.
Enjoy a guided walking tour of the city.
Visit the 16th Century Palacio Municipal, admire the impressive collection of murals depicting Valladolid’s history from the Caste War to the Mexican Revolution.
Transfer to your hotel in Playa del Carmen.
DAY 6: COZUMEL
Today, board a ferry to the paradisiacal island of Cozumel. The island is home to a small section of the world’s second largest barrier reef system, known as the Mesoamerican Reef.
Upon arrival, take a boat ride through Cozumel’s Ocean Park.
Then, swim and snorkel among the tropical fish at three different sites.
In the afternoon, explore the island at your own pace before boarding your ferry back to Playa del Carmen.
Enjoy a farewell dinner with your group at the hotel.
Day 7 – MEXICO | USA
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport in Cancún.
Say good-bye to your Forum Tour Manager before boarding your flight home.
