DAY 1: USA | ROME
Fly overnight to Italy.
DAY 2: ROME
Benvenuti in Italia! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your bilingual Forum Tour Manager who will remain with your group for the duration of your stay.
Follow your Tour Manager on a walking tour.
Walk to Piazza di Spagna with the famous Spanish Steps. See Piazza Navona, enter the Pantheon, and explore the Largo di Torre Argentino and the Campo de Fiori.
Stop at the famous Trevi Fountain and follow superstition by throwing a coin into the water to ensure that you will one-day return to Rome.

DAY 3: ROME | THE COLOSSEUM
This morning after breakfast, take a tour in the Colosseum, where gladiators once battled, the Roman Imperial Forum with focus on Roman Mythology and a walk through the Roman Forum ending at the Palatine Hill.
Enter the Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, home to one of the world’s largest collections of ancient art and the perfect showcase for some of the most beautiful paintings, mosaics, and sculptures from Roman times.
Enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace or shop for some souvenirs.

DAY 4: VATICAN CITY
Breakfast at the hotel with your group, and meet your local guide for a tour of the Vatican city.
Visit the Vatican Museum first opened in the 16th Century, including its most important sights: the Sistine Chapel, the rooms of Raphael, and the art gallery.
Make a stop at the Gladiator School where you will not only learn about the history and daily lives of these famous warriors from ancient Rome, but you will also learn how to fight like them!
Enjoy a delicious Italian dinner at Papa Rex.

DAY 5: ROME | SORRENTO
Have breakfast at your hotel and have a guided tour of the archeological site of the once thriving harbour of Rome, Ostia Antica, which was left abandoned and ruined after the collapse of the Roman Empire and which still perserves the original shops, theatre, and baths used during these times.
Board your private bus and continue your journey to Sorrento overlooking the Bay of Naples.
See the Piazza Tasso, a cafe-lined square in the historic center which houses the Chiesa di San Francesco, a 14th-century church, among other sights.

DAY6: POMPEII | NAPLES
After breakfast, take a guided tour of Pompeii . Once an opulent town, it was buried in 79CE in one of the most disastrous volcanic eruptions in history. Explore the site with your guide and learn the history behind the ruins.
Gain real insight into ancient Roman life at Herculaneum, a city that was victim to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and much better preserved than Pompeii.
Board your private bus and continue your journey to Naples. Looming in the shadow of the legendary Mt.Vesuvius, Naples is full of history and also is one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean today.
See the Duomo di Napoli, Dante Square, and the Castel Nuovo, a medieval castle located in front of Piazza Municipio and the city hall.

DAY 7: PAESTUM | AMALFI COAST
Have breakfast at your hotel and discover the ancient greek city of Paestum located in Cappacio. Famed for its three temples dedicated to Hera, Neptune, and Athena, you’ll walk through the forum and explore the amphitheater.
Drive along the Amalfi Coast and admire the picturesque towns suspended on the Mediterranean Sea. Stop to take in the breathtaking views.

DAY 8 : SORRENTO
After breakfast at your hotel, visit a family-owned mozzarella factory to learn how this world-famous cheese is made using the traditional techniques.
Stop at a gelateria to learn how traditional Italian ice cream is made. You will also be able to cure your sweet tooth at the tasting part of the visit!
Enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace or shop for some souvenirs.

DAY 9: DEPART
