DAY 1: USA | ROME
  • Fly overnight to Italy. Benvenuto in Italia! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your bilingual Forum Tour Manager who will remain with your group for the duration of your stay.

DAY 2: ROME
  • Follow your Tour Manager on a walking tour and start at Piazza di Spagna with the famous Spanish Steps. See Piazza Navona, enter the Pantheon, and explore the Largo di Torre Argentino and the Campo de Fiori.

  • Stop at the famous Trevi Fountain and follow superstition by throwing a coin into the water to ensure that you will one-day return to Rome.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Rome.

DAY 3: ROME | THE COLOSSEUM
  • This morning after breakfast, take a tour of the Colosseum, where gladiators once battled; followed by the Roman Imperial Forum, where you will immerse yourself in Roman Mythology as you walk through the Forum ending at Palatine Hill.

  • Later, visit the Basilica di San Clemente, one of Rome’s oldest basilicas and dedicated to Pope Saint Clemente.

  • Enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace or shop for some souvenirs.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Rome.

DAY 4: ROME | THE CAPITOLINE MUSEUM
  • Have breakfast at your hotel. Then admire the artwork in one of the oldest museums in the world, the Capitoline Museum, founded in 1471. It displays the original Capatoline Wolf sculpture which tells the legend of the founding of Rome.

  • Explore Trastevere with your Forum Tour Manager. Thanks to its unique character and narrow cobbled streets lined by medieval houses, this neighborhood has attracted artists, foreign expats,and many famous people. Be sure to see the faboulous view from Gianicolo.

  • Follow your guide to Tiber Island and explore the Forum Boarium along the Tiber River.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Rome.

DAY 5: ROMA | OSTIA ANTICA
  • Have breakfast at your hotel and board your private bus to Ostia Antica.

  • A vast archaeological site about 30 km from Rome, the town of Ostia Antica was abandoned and buried for over ten centuries until it was rediscovered.

  • Meet your local guide who will help you make the most out of your visit by providing you with details, highlights, and insights.

  • See the well-preserved Roman ruins and step back in time as you walk through thermal baths, amphitheatres, and villas.

  • Have a guided tour of the archeological site of the once thriving harbour of Rome, Ostia Antica, which was left abandoned and ruined after the collapse of the Roman Empire and which still perserves the original shops, theatre, and baths used during these times.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Rome.

DAY 6: ROME
  • Breakfast at the hotel with your group. Then head to Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo), the first and largest stadium in ancient Rome and its later Empire, located in the valley between the Aventine and Palentine hills.

  • Walk around one of the most luxurious and beautiful baths in the entire Roman Empire, the Baths of Caracalla. With a capacity of 1,600 users, this massive complex had two gardens, many shops, and even a temple.

  • A local guide will lead you through the tour of the museum.

  • Enter Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, home to one of the world´s largest collections of ancient art. This is the right showcase for some of the most beautiful paintings, mosaics, and sculptures from Roman times.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Rome.

DAY 7: ROMA | VATICAN CITY
  • Breakfast at the hotel with your group and meet your local guide for a tour of the Vatican city.

  • Visit the Vatican Museum first opened in the 16th Century, including its most important sights: the Sistine Chapel, the rooms of Raphael, and the art gallery.

  • Stop at the Villa Borghese, an elegant and beautiful mansion which houses one of the most renowned art galleries in the world, the Borghese Gallery. Artwork from Caravaggio, Rubens, and Botticelli are on display for you to discover, along with mosaics and sculptures from ancient Rome.

  • A local guide will lead you through the tour of the museum

  • Spend some time in the Parco della Villa Borghese, the largest green space in the centre of the city.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Rome.

DAY 8: DEPART
  • Have breakfast at your hotel.

  • Transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home.
