DAY 1: USA | PERÚ
  • Fly to Cusco, Perú.

DAY 2: CUSCO
  • Bienvenidos a Perú! Upon arrival, meet your Forum Tour Manager, who will help you transfer from the airport to Cusco.

  • After lunch, follow your Tour Manager on a guided walking tour. See the Plaza de Armas, the legendary founding place of the city, and the 17th-century cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial architecture.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Cusco.

DAY 3: DAY TRIP TO PISCAC
  • After breakfast, travel to Pisac, an Andean pueblo located at the base of a former Incan citadel.

  • Upon arrival, visit the village market where members of the indigenous Quechua community come from the highlands weekly to sell beautiful colorful weavings and handicrafts.

  • Next, discover the ruins of Pisac overlooking the Urubamba Valley.

  • Then, explore the ruins around Puca Pucara, meaning “Red Fort.”

  • Continue to Tambomachay to see its ceremonial water fountains and visit the Qengo temple and amphitheater.

  • End your day at Korincancha, the Incan temple dedicated to the sun.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Cusco.

DAY 4: OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
  • This morning after breakfast, travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incans to Ollantaytambo, the only village intact from the Incan period that is still inhabited today.

  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

  • From there, take the train to Aguas Calientes, a small town located at the base of Machu Picchu.

  • Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and have dinner with your group.

  • Then, head over to take an evening dip in the natural hot springs that give this small village its name.

DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU
  • This morning after breakfast, head to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incan Empire and one of the most spectacular sets of ruins in the world!

  • To get to the top, you will have a private bus available or you can walk the 1,280 feet of pathways and stone steps that lead up to the site.

  • Once at the top, enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu, then have some free time to explore the site on your own before heading back down.

  • Return by train to Cusco for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 6: DAY TRIP TO MISMINAY
  • After breakfast, travel to Misminay, a village located at the end of the Sacred Valley, where you will be welcomed by the local community and invited to participate in some of their local rituals and ceremonies.

  • Attend a weaving workshop to learn traditional coloring techniques.

  • Enjoy lunch with the community.

  • After, take an agricultural tour to see how crops are grown and harvested in the Andes.

  • Return to Cusco for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 7: CUSCO – PUNO
  • After breakfast, board your private bus and travel to Puno.

  • As you pass through the Altiplano look for llamas and alpacas!

  • Stop in the town of Andahuaylillas to visit its 17th-century church.

  • Then, visit Raqchi´s archeological site and the Temple of Wiracocha.

  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Continue on to La Raya mountain range located 14,000 feet above sea level and admire the majestic view of the Andes.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Puno.

DAY 8: PUNO – LAKE TITICACA
  • After breakfast at your hotel, start the day with a boat ride on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.

  • Visit the floating islands of the Uros, made of totora reeds.

  • Have lunch with your grupo at a local restaurant.

  • Continue to the Island of Taquile – covered with terraced fields – and explore the island at your own pace.

  • Board your boat and return to Puno for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 9: PUNO – JULIACA – LIMA
  • After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Juliaca Airport and board your domestic flight to Lima.

  • Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of Lima. Start with a visit to the Monastery of San Francisco – famous for its catacombs containing 70,000 graves!

  • Then see the Government and Archbishop´s Palaces in the Plaza Mayor.

  • Have some free time for lunch in the popular Plaza San Martín.

  • In the afternoon, visit the modern district of Miraflores.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Lima.

DAY 10: DEPART
  • After breakfast, say “¡Adios!” to your Forum Tour Manager and transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
