DAY 1: USA | FRANCE
  • Fly overnight to Paris, capital of France.

DAY 2: PARIS
  • Bienvenue en France! Meet your Forum Tour Manager at the airport in Paris.

  • Transfer by private motor coach to your Parisian hotel and drop off your bags.

  • While in Paris, travel as the locals do – by foot and metro!

  • This afternoon, stroll down the most famous avenue of the capital, the Champs-Elysées, and climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe to admire the view.

  • Enjoy dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 3: VERSAILLES
  • After breakfast with your group, take the RER train to Versailles.

  • Discover the Château de Versailles; the extravagant Palace built for the Sun King, Louis XIV. Walk in the footsteps of Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, and Presidents Jefferson and Wilson.

  • Explore the elegantly landscaped gardens on a rented bycicle.

  • Later in the afternoon, return to Paris and head to the highest point in the city, Montmartre (known locally as La Butte). Climb the steps to reach the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre’s hilltop church and most famous landmark.

  • Enjoy dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 4: PARIS
  • This morning after breakfast, enjoy a stroll with your Tour Manager on the Place Vendôme and continue your walk through the Jardin des Tuileries.

  • Later, visit the Musée du Louvre, the world’s largest and most visited art museum. Its famous collection of art and antiquities includes the Mona Lisa and 35,000 other works of art on display in 300 rooms.

  • Have some free time for lunch.

  • In the afternoon, head to the Parc du Champ-de-Mars and admire the view from the 3rd floor of the Eiffel Tower (subject to availability).

  • This evening, see what hides in the shadows of the City of Light during an interactive theatrical experience at Le Manoir de Paris.

DAY 5: PARIS | ROME
  • This morning, explore the Île de la Cité.

  • See the iconic Cathédrale Notre-Dame, then visit another Gothic masterpiece, the Sainte-Chapelle. This intimate royal chapel surrounds you in iridescent light and color formed by the awe-inspiring stained-glass windows.

  • Have lunch with your group at the Crêperie Beaubourg (subject to availability).

  • Later, take some time to explore the lively Quartier Latin. Wander past the enchanting streets and cafés where some of the most famous turn-of-the-century writers gained their inspiration.

  • Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for some last-minute souvenir shopping.

  • Tonight board your overnight train to Rome.

DAY 6: ROME
  • Benvenuti! Your Italian Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the train station and will remain with your group for the rest of your stay in Europe.

  • Meet your specialist local guide and enjoy a guided tour of Ancient Rome. Walk around the Arch of Constantine and head towards the ruins of the Roman Forum, the focal point of the Roman world and one of the greatest archeological sites in the world today.

  • Visit the Colosseum, a masterpiece of classical architecture where fights between men and beasts, gladiatorial contests, races, and mock naval battles took place. Learn about the ingenious system of ramps and trap doors that provided access to the arena.

  • Before dinner, stroll through the narrow streets of the Eternal City and discover the Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori and the Pantheon. You can also visit the Fontana di Trevi and follow superstition by throwing a coin into the fountain to ensure that you will one-day return to Rome.

  • Enjoy dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 7: VATICAN CITY
  • After breakfast at the hotel, meet your specialist local guide and visit St-Peter’s Square!

  • Step into the immense and grand St-Peter’s Basilica; in and around the square are Swiss guards, in Renaissance-style uniforms. Visit the Vatican Museum and view Raffael’s amazing murals, see the Tapestry Gallery.

  • End your visit with the Sistine Chapel and its vaulted ceiling painted by Michelangelo.

  • This afternoon, explore Trastevere with your Forum Tour Manager. Thanks to its unique character and narrow cobbled streets lined by medieval houses, this neighbourhood has attracted artists, foreign expats, and many famous people. Be sure to see the fabulous view from Gianicolo.

  • This evening, admire the beautifully illuminated monuments on the way to dinner in Trastevere.

DAY 8: DEPART
  • Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the USA.
