DAY 1: USA | SPAIN
Fly overnight Málaga, Spain.
DAY 2: MÁLAGA
¡Bienvenidos a España! Your Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the airport and help you transfer you to your hotel to check in and drop off your luggage.
Follow your Forum Tour Manager on a walking tour of Málaga. Visit the iconic Plaza de la Merced and see Picasso’s birthplace. Admire the ruins of the partially-excavated Roman Amphitheater, and see Málaga’s Renaissance Cathedral, or as the locals call it, La Manquita, meaning “The One-Armed Lady.”
Enjoy some free time to discover the city-center on your own or head to La Malagueta beach!
In the evening, enjoy an authentic malagueño dinner in a chiringuito overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

DAY 3: MÁLAGA | ALFARNATE | SEVILLE
After breakfast at your hotel, board your private motorcoach for Seville.
Make a stop in the beautiful whitewashed village of Alfarnate. Tour an olive oil factory and try some of the local delicacies such as almonds, honey and figs.
As the highlight of your visit, be welcomed into the home of a family for a traditional Andalusian lunch!
Continue to Seville. Check in at your hotel and drop off your bags.
Take a guided tour of the Museo del Baile Flamenco followed by a flamenco dance class led by one of the performers.
Then, see the professionals in action during an evening flamenco show.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant after the show.

DAY 4: SEVILLE | GRANADA
After breakfast at your hotel, take a guided walking tour of Seville.
Enter the Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the claimed resting place of Christopher Columbus, then climb to the top of the Giralda, a minaret built in the 12th century.
Next, visit the Real Alcázar, a stunning palace fortress and residence of both Moorish and Christian rulers for over 11 centuries.
After, stroll through Parque de María Luisa to the immense Plaza de España, where tiled alcoves represent each of Spain’s provinces.
Later in the afternoon, board your private motorcoach to Granada.
Upon arrival, meet your exchange partners and host families.
Spend your first dinner and evening with your host family.
DAY 5 – 7: EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Attend school with your exchange partner.
Enjoy the afternoon and weekend with your exchange partner and their family.
DAY 8: DAY TRIP TO CÓRDOBA
This morning after breakfast, head to Córdoba, the former capital of the Moorish kingdom of Al-Andalus and one of the greatest centers of art, culture and learning during the Middle Ages.
Upon arrival, meet your specialist local guide and discover the Jewish Quarter, the Synagogue and the fabulous Mezquita, an 8th-century Mosque turned cathedral that symbolizes the many religious changes that the city has experienced over the centuries.
At lunch time, head to Mercado de la Victoria! Try typical regional dishes like salmorejo, a creamy chilled soup made from tomatoes.
Later, have some free time to explore the narrow streets of Córdoba and its famous flower-filled patios.
Return to your host family in Granada for the evening.
DAYS 9 & 10: EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Attend school with your exchange partner.
Enjoy the afternoon with your exchange partner and their family.
DAY 11: RETURN
After breakfast, say a fond “¡adiós!” to your exchange partner and host family, then transfer to the airport for your flight back to the USA.
