DAY 1: USA | SPAIN
  • Fly overnight to Málaga, Spain.

DAY 2: MÁLAGA | GRANADA
  • ¡Bienvenidos a España! Your Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the airport and remain with your group for the length of your tour in Andalusia.

  • Board your bus to Granada. Check in at your hotel to drop off your luggage.

  • In the afternoon, explore the Albaycín quarter, across the gorge from the Alhambra. Walk up the calle de las teterías, lined with tea rooms, to the Mirador de San Nicolás.

  • Enjoy the amazing view of the Alhambra palace and the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the distance.

  • For dinner, sample some traditional tapas at a local restaurant.

  • Night accommodation in Granada.

DAY 3: GRANADA | SEVILLE
  • This morning after breakfast, visit the magnificent Alhambra. Enjoy a guided tour through the Alcazaba (the fort), the Generalife (gardens), Charles V’s Palace, and the Nasrid Palaces.

  • Later, board your private bus to Seville, capital of Andalusia.

  • Drop off your luggage and check in at your centrally-located hotel.

  • Head to the enchanting Plaza de España. Marvel at the intricate tiled alcoves lining the walls, each representing a different province of Spain. Then, paddle along the canal in a row boat or roam through the dreamy Parque de María Luisa.

  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Night accommodation in Seville.

DAY 4: SEVILLE | MADRID
  • This morning after breakfast, take a guided tour of Seville. Begin at the Real Alcázar, a palace fortress with stunning examples of Mudéjar architecture.

  • Visit the Santa Cruz Quarter and explore the narrow streets and alleys of the old Judería (Jewish quarter).

  • End your tour at the Cathedral, the largest Gothic building in Europe. Climb to the top of the Giralda, a minaret built in the 12th century.

  • After some free time for lunch, transfer to the train station and board the high-speed AVE train to Madrid.

  • Upon arrival, transfer to your partner school in the suburbs of Madrid. Meet your exchange partners and families.

  • Start your exchange program. Immerse yourself in the daily life of your host family and school community as you attend school with your exchange partner and experience life as a true local!

  • Dinner and night accommodation with your host family.

DAY 5: SUNDAY WITH HOST FAMILY
DAYS 6 & 7 : EXCHANGE PROGRAM
  • Attend school with your exchange partner.

  • Afternoon activities and workshops may be organized at the school during your visit (to be confirmed with your partner school).

  • Evening with your host family.

DAY 8 : DAY TRIP TO SEGOVIA
  • This morning after breakfast with your family, meet your Forum Tour Manager and board your private bus to Segovia, a World Heritage City with unique monuments that make a visit worthwhile.

  • Upon arrival, meet your local guide and discover the Roman Aqueduct, crossing the city from one side to the other. Considered one of the Roman Empire’s most impressive works of engineering, it remains standing to this day thanks to an ingenious technique based on balancing forces.

  • Visit the Alcázar fortress. Standing between the confluence of the Eresma and Clamores rivers, the first documented record of the fortress dates back to Christian writings in the 12th century. It was built on top of a rock, a testament to its original military status. Climb up the tower and enjoy an amazing view of Segovia’s landscape.

  • Have some free time for lunch and to discover Segovia on your own!

  • Return to Madrid for dinner and night accommodation with your host family.

DAYS 9 – 10 : EXCHANGE PROGRAM
  • Attend school with your exchange partner.

  • Afternoon activities and workshops may be organized at the school during your visit (to be confirmed with your partner school).

DAYS 11 – 12 : WEEKEND WITH HOST FAMILY
  • Spend the weekend with your exchange partner and host family.

DAY 13: DEPART
  • Today, say a fond “¡adiós!” to your exchange partners and transfer by private bus to the airport for your flight back to the USA.
