DAY 1: USA | BILBAO
  • Fly overnight to Bilbao.

DAY 2: BILBAO
  • ¡Bienvenidos a España! Upon arrival, meet your Forum Tour Manager who will be by your side, dedicated to your group while on tour.

  • Stretch your legs and get to know historic Bilbao on a walk through the Old Town, the “Casco Viejo,” which the people of Bilbao affectionately call the Seven Streets.

  • Discover Mercado de la Ribera, where locals buy their fresh food. This beautiful market is registered in the Guinness World Records as the largest covered market in Europe.

  • Enjoy a meal with your group at a local restaurant.

  • Night accommodation at your hotel.

DAY 3: GERNIKA-LUMO | BILBAO
  • Enjoy a guided visit of the Museo Guggenheim – the futuristic-looking art gallery, with its world-famous unique design.

  • Ride the funicular to the summit of the Artxanda, where you will see the city from another perspective.

  • In the afternoon, head to Gernika, the spiritual home to the Basque people destroyed by German Luftwaffe in 1937, inspiring the infamous Picasso painting.

  • Visit the Assembly House to see the Tree of Gernika, under which the Basque Code of Law was created in the 14th century.

  • Then continue to the Peace Museum, dedicated to the story of the bombing of the city. See the life-size mural of Picasso’s famous work on a wall outside one of the town’s parks.

  • Dinner and night accommodation in Bilbao.

DAY 4: SAN SEBASTIAN | BILBAO
  • After breakfast, board your private bus and head to San Sebastián.

  • Head to La Concha beach. La Concha is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. See Miramar Palace as you head towards El Antiguo neighbourhood and Ondarreta Beach.

  • As you reach the end of your walk along the beaches, at the foot of Monte Igueldo, you will see the Peine del Viento (Wind Comb). This sculpture, by Eduardo Chillida, is a symbol of San Sebastián and marks one of its most beautiful viewpoints.

  • Then, get ready to go to the top of Monte Igueldo to enjoy unbeatable views of San Sebastian. Take the Monte Igueldo funicular to make your way to the top.

  • Return  for dinner and night accommodation in Bilbao.

DAY 5: BILBAO | PICOS DE EUROPA
  • After breakfast, board your private bus to the Picos de Europa, located in Asturias.

  • Home to the brown bear and the Iberian wolf, the Picos de Europa National Park takes its name from the rock formations you will find there. Spread across the provinces of Asturias, Cantabria, and León, is the perfect example of an Atlantic ecosystem.

  • Ride the Teleférico Fuente Dé, a cable car in the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park that takes you up the mountains at 6,000 feet high, where you can enjoy incredible panoramic views over the valley and the surroundings. The glazed construction of the cable car will make the journey unforgettable.

  • Enjoy a meal with your group in a local restaurant and the night accommondation at your hotel.

DAY 6: OVIEDO
  • After breakfast, board your bus to and continue to Oviedo! the capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain.

  • Visit the “Catedral Metropolitana de El Salvador” one of the principal stations for the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.

  • Then visit the Museo de Bellas Artes – This museum is located very close to the Cathedral and is considered one of the top ten fine arts museums of Spain. It is in the Palacio de Velarde.

  • Tonight enjoy a typical northern dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

  • Overnight accommodation in Oviedo.

DAY 7: Playa de las Catedrales
  • This morning after breakfast, transfer to la Playa de las Catedrales!

  • Spend the morning on the sandy beaches of the breath-taking Playa de las Catedrales. Discover the rock structures and caves throughout the beach.

  • Enjoy a meal with your group in a local restaurant and night accommodation at your hotel.

DAY 8: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
  • Start your day with a walking tour of the old town. Discover the rich monumental heritage the city has to offer.

  • Enter the Catedral de Santiago de Compostela, the final destination of “Camino de Santiago.” A major historical pilgrimage route since the Middle Ages.

  • Visit the Convento de Santo Domingo de Bonaval, founded by St. Dominic de Guzman who went on pilgrimage to Santiago in 1219.

  • Visit the Museo del Pueblo Gallego, dedicated to Galician history and culture.

  • Enjoy a meal with your group in a local restaurant and overnight accommodation in Santiago de Compostela.

DAY 9: DEPART
  • After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport by private bus to catch your flight(s) back home.
